This Week's Menu



We're making of LOTS of additions, which is all part of a process of experimentation in finding the ideal mix for our menu of delivered food. Next week we're adding a couple of quiches, plus a small selection of freezer meals. We've also added our truffled mushroom sauce, which goes with pasta, steak, or pretty much anything else you could think of. Please give us feedback.

Staff lunch is bit of a 'thing' at Dish. Top of the hit parade is Reggie's fried chicken, which could seriously give the Colonel a run for his money. You have to understand that Reggie is not officially one of the cooks. His job is to make sure that all the ordering happens, and that stock levels are managed so that the kitchen can keep cooking. He is often seen pedalling a yellow bicycle around Obs, with a crate on the rear carrier filled with last-minute provisions that have been picked up locally. He started cooking staff lunch because the chefs were all too busy, and when he came up with RFC he had a job for life.

Orders close at 8.00 am each day. Saturday's meals will be delivered on Friday afternoon.
Delivery (cost: R25) is between 3.00pm and 7.00pm (unfortunately, a time cannot be specified). 
Collection (free) is between 2.00pm and 5.00pm from our kitchen (cnr Lower Scott & Lugard, Observatory). Please phone us as you approach (021-4470323), and we'll bring your order out to your car.
